MST-BAR® 10M Grade 1 Fiberglass Rebar for Flatwork

MST-BAR® 10M Grade 1 is a glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) rebar made for concrete flatwork. It is made from vinyl ester resin and ECR glass fibre, with an integral rib profile that needs no sand coating. It doesn’t rust, so it needs no epoxy coating or waterproofing agent, and it weighs about 75% less than steel rebar.

It is designed for non-structural slab-on-grade work such as driveways, patios, walkways, garage floors and parking slabs, where the reinforcement controls shrinkage and carries slight loads. G2 provides an engineer-stamped slab-on-grade design aid that sets the bar spacing by slab thickness and load for residential driveways, parking garages and commercial slabs. It is not a substitute for structural Grade III bar.
