ICF homes for
Ontario homeowners.
ICF Foundations and Walls that are high performing, reinforced with steel and concrete, keep the noise out and lower your utility bills. At TruForm ICF, we work with homeowners from design, estimates to installs for foundations, additions, garden suites and custom homes across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario.
Why homeowners choose ICF
A quieter, warmer home that lasts.
An ICF wall is a steel-reinforced concrete core with continuous insulation on both faces. There are no wood studs to carry the cold through, so your home stays comfortable in every season, runs quieter, and costs less to heat and cool.
Whether you’re planning a custom home, addition, garden suite or foundation, we support you from drawings and estimate through delivery and installation. You’ll get straight answers about cost and what to expect before you commit.

Common questions
How much more does an ICF home cost?
ICF usually adds to the cost of the exterior walls compared with wood framing, and the difference depends on your design, size and site. Many homeowners find that part of it comes back through lower heating and cooling bills and a basement that is ready to finish. Send us your drawings for a material estimate.
Do ICF homes save energy?
Yes. ICF walls have continuous insulation on both faces of the concrete and no wood studs bridging it, which reduces heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. Actual savings depend on your design, windows, air sealing and mechanical systems.
Is an ICF house quiet and fire resistant?
The concrete core with foam on both sides reduces outside noise, and concrete is non-combustible. Ratings depend on the full wall assembly, so ask your designer to confirm the requirements for your project.
Can I build an addition, cottage or garden suite with ICF?
Yes. ICF is used for custom homes, additions, cottages and foundations. Send us your drawings and we will advise how ICF fits your project.
Does TruForm ICF install ICF or only supply it?
We do both. We supply IntegraSpec ICF and can provide installation with our own crews, or refer you to a certified installer.
